Semester Release Units explained

Details of the agreement that provides release units for faculty work on semester transition of courses and curricula are available in the latest edition (July 1, 2010) of the Newsletter.

AAUP will hold an Information Session regarding the Semester Release Units on Tuesday, July 13, from 2:00-3:30 p.m. in Lindner Auditorium. AAUP Officers and FACT members will be available to answer questions or discuss concerns.

Faculty members who are not able to attend the Information Session should contact AAUP Contract Compliance Officer Geoff Woolf.

Fair Share Notification

The AAUP, as the legal bargaining agent for Cincinnati State faculty, is required to provide periodic notification to all members concerning the method for calculating the fair share fee. The Fair Share Fee Notification form will provide more information on this. Any faculty member with further questions should contac Chapter President Paul Davis or Chapter Membership Chair Dave Killen.
